The new plaza by the brand is situated in Villa Allende, nestled at the base of the Sierras Chicas, an adjacent city that originated as an estate and has now become integrated into the capital. The central theme revolves around authenticity and genuineness, respecting its most unrefined aspect as a brand statement; this is the essence of Superanfibio.

The Café is centered around a micro-architecture of 9.5m2 that we designed while respecting the constraints of the environment. It is clad with a systematic rhythm of kiri wood slats and metallic carpentry in a brownish-gray tone with a rationalist distribution, giving it an intellectual character that gradually softens within the natural surroundings.

The interior and exterior spaces are approached in two different ways, always linked to materials and textures.

Regarding expansion, that abstract space that contains us, we were conscious of the equipment design to reinforce a discourse of urban appropriation. The small tables and benches signal that it’s a passing experience. Even the only “conventional” seat speaks a public language, further reinforcing this concept.

It comprises a series of meticulously carved pieces crafted from locally sourced granite in a workshop located at the mountain’s base. These pieces rest upon clay-turned drums skillfully created by artisans from another region of Córdoba. The conscious choice of indigenous materials and collaboration with local craftsmen transcend mere design, embodying the studio’s architectural philosophy.

One of the strongest elements as a declaration of service philosophy and connection with the community is the provision of free water. We translated the concept of a well pump into a large reservoir and an oversized clay jug with a stone base, allowing water to cascade gracefully and emphasize its natural aspect.
